Steven Goldberg

A founding member of Goldberg Properties, Steve specializes in improving structures while maintaining their historical significance and architectural integrity.   A licensed Massachusetts Supervisor of Construction, Steve excels at design layouts.

After attending Boston University, Steve worked for Sam Goldberg and Sons, the family’s Heating and Energy Management Company, where he acquired a wide knowledge of internal systems (HVAC, electrical and plumbing), construction and renovation. 

A lifelong Beverly resident, Steve spends his weekends skiing with his wife and two sons in the winter, and racing his sailboat in the warmer months.  He also enjoys sports cars.



William Goldberg

A founding member of Goldberg Properties, Bill’s primary focus is acquisitions, financing and commercial leasing.  Involved in Real Estate Investment since 1979, Bill uses his experience to identify income property opportunities, while always looking for under-utilized properties to add to the Goldberg Properties portfolio.

In one of his proudest achievements, Bill was the catalyst in the formation of the Barbara Goldberg Scholarship Fund. Honoring the founding brothers’ mother, Barbara Goldberg, who was a respected Real Estate broker on the North Shore in the 1960’s and 70’s, this Fund grants scholarships to local high school seniors who are not only strong academically but also active in the community.  A licensed Real Estate Broker, Bill was nominated for the 2008 Salem Chamber of Commerce Businessman of the Year

Bill was born and raised in Beverly, and now resides in Salem with his wife, son and daughter.  Away from the office, Bill enjoys spending time with his family.  An art and architecture enthusiast, Bill has traveled extensively throughout Africa, Asia and Europe.


Andrew Goldberg

Representing the 3rd Generation of the Goldberg Family to be involved in Real Estate Investment, Andy joined Goldberg Properties in 2002.  A MA licensed Real Estate Agent, his responsibilities include acquisitions, commercial leasing, financing and marketing.

Andy is involved in the community as a member of both the Beverly and Salem Economic Restructuring Committees, as well being on the Board of Directors for Beverly Main Streets and the Salem Partnership.  He was recently a consultant for Beverly’s retail study through Endicott College’s MBA program.  He broadened his Real Estate experience by working in Land Development for Brandenburg Properties in Northern California before joining Goldberg Properties.  Andy graduated with a degree in Business Management from Providence College. 

An avid sports fan, Andy enjoys attending games as a fan while also playing basketball and golf.  He has driven across country, and enjoys traveling.


Jay Goldberg

Jay Goldberg joined Goldberg Properties in September 2008 and focuses on strategic planning & business development.  He oversees Goldberg Properties’ long-term strategic initiatives, as well as drives new business ventures. 

Jay previously worked at Connaught Real Estate Finance, a mezzanine finance fund in Chicago, Illinois as an asset manager on a $100 million portfolio of for-sale residential real estate development projects throughout the country.  Prior to that, Jay was a financial analyst for Merchandise Mart Properties (a subsidiary of Vornado Realty Trust), one of the nation’s largest wholesale showroom and trade producers in the country.  He was responsible for setting tenant budgets and analyzing all lease transactions.  Jay started his career as a consultant for Ernst & Young’s Real Estate Advisory Group in Boston, Massachusetts.  During his years at Ernst & Young, he gained valuable experience in due diligence, valuations of different asset classes, construction budgeting, market and financial feasibility studies, and debt restructuring.

Jay graduated from the University of Connecticut with a bachelor’s degree in Real Estate & Urban Economics.  He holds real estate licenses in both the states of Massachusetts and Illinois.  Jay has also received certificates in Certified Commercial Investment Professional (CCIM) courses and Boston University’s Center for Professional Studies in Real Estate.  He is a member of the Young Real Estate Professionals (YREP) and Jewish United Fund (JUF) Young Real Estate Group.


Sheila Driscoll
Property Manger/Residential Leasing

Sheila Driscoll has been with Goldberg Properties since 2001 and is the company’s property manager.  Involvement in all aspects of residential leasing, tenant concerns, lease extensions, human resources is only a small sample of her duties.  Her patience, ability to organize, people skills, and work ethic are invaluable to the company.

A Rochester Institute of Technology graduate, Sheila is a Massachusetts Notary Public and has won the Board of Directors Award from “We Care About Homes”.  She is a recent recipient of the St John’s the Evangelist of Beverly’s Outstanding Service Award.

Sheila enjoys boating, volunteer work, theater, horseback riding and spending time with her family.  Born in Ilion, NY, Sheila moved to Beverly 25 years ago and lives with her husband and 2 children.


Karen MacDonald
Accountant

Karen has been the in-house accountant at Goldberg Properties since 2003.  She handles all aspects of accounts payable and receivable.  Her responsibilities include reconciling accounts, establishing credit accounts, maintaining current financial records, organizing funds for purchases and assisting Goldberg Properties’ CPAs during year end.

Born in Gloucester, Karen has lived in Beverly for 25 years.  She attended North Adams State College and is married with two sons.  Her interests include gardening, travel and her family.





Stanley "Stan" Harris
Crew Foreman and Service Manager

Stan has been an integral part of Goldberg Properties since its inception in 1986.  Stan specializes in organizing work flow, and motivating the Goldberg Properties Crew to get the job done.  His ability to maintain properties with the highest service level is integral to Goldberg Properties’ success.  If there is a problem at one of the properties, “Stan is the Man”!

Stan is married with two daughters.  In his free time Stan enjoys spending time with his family and playing Texas Hold’Em Poker.  He hopes to one day play at the Final Table of the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas
